How long is each session?

The length of sessions will vary on profile, requirements and how often you are attending therapy. Sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.

 

How much does therapy cost?

How long will treatment last?

This is dependent on your profile and how often you will be attending therapy. Weekly therapy will assist to maintain the intensity of the treatment. Less frequent therapy session will result in smaller and slower gains.

 

What results can I expect to see?

This will depend on your individual profile and what you are hoping to achieve by attending therapy. The frequency and intensity of the therapy shall also determine the gains made and the outcome of the therapy. Implementation at home can help lead to better outcomes.

Are sessions held in a therapy room? Will the therapist attend my place of work, vocation or home?

Our occupational therapists can visit you in your occupational setting, whether it be home or work. We are a mobile service and can arrange sessions at a time which is convenient to you.

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral to see an occupational therapist, but consulting with your GP is advised.
